All passengers entering Indonesia—both Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals—are required to complete the ECD, regardless of the duration of their stay or purpose of travel.
Is it mandatory to fill out the ECD before arriving in Indonesia?
Yes, it is mandatory to complete the Electronic Customs Declaration (ECD) before your arrival. Completing it in advance helps streamline the customs process and avoids delays at the airport. You can fill it out online within 3 days prior to arrival.
What items must be declared in the ECD?
